Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made from Browsers, whether in-store or online. They are written in accordance with Irish and EU consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and relevant EU Directives. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Payments

Deposits (In-Store Purchases)

● A deposit of 40% is required when placing an in-store order.
● The remaining balance must be paid in full before goods are released for delivery or collection.

Online Purchases

● All online purchases must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

3. Order Changes & Cancellations (In-Store Purchases)

● Orders may be changed or cancelled within 48 hours of confirmation.
● Cancellations or changes after this period may result in the loss of the deposit or a restocking charge of up to 30%, reflecting costs already incurred.
● Special orders may not be changed or cancelled after this time period.

4. Delivery & Storage

Delivery Charges
● Delivery is free of charge for any orders exceeding €3,000.
● Delivery for orders under €3,000 is chargeable, with prices varying by location.

Delivery charges are as follow:
– Limerick €40
– Clare, Cork, Offaly, Tipperary, Kerry €50
– Galway €60
– Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Mayo, Meath, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Waterford, Wexford, Dublin €80
– Monaghan, Cavan, Longford, Louth, Westmeath, Wicklow €100
– Donegal €150

Delivery
● Large furniture items are delivered by our dedicated delivery team.
● Once your order arrives in store, a member of our team will contact you to arrange a delivery date.
● Delivery typically takes place within 1–2 weeks of the item arriving in store, depending on delivery volumes.
● Our delivery service includes assembly and removal of packaging at no extra cost.

Delivery Times
● Whilst every reasonable effort will be made, all delivery times provided are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

Storage
● If you are unable to accept delivery when your goods arrive, we can store them free of charge for up to 4 weeks.
● After this period, reasonable storage charges may apply. Any such charges will be communicated to you in advance.

5. Checking Your Goods

● Please inspect your items carefully at the time of delivery and report any visible damage immediately.

6. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described:

● Include a description of the issue along with photographs or videos where possible.
● In accordance with Irish and EU consumer law, we provide remedies for qualifying issues through repair, replacement, or refund, as determined by the nature of the case.
● While our general policy is to offer repair, replacement, and then refund in that order, every customer situation is assessed individually.

7. Returns – In-Store Purchases

● Our in-store goodwill returns policy allows you to return unused items in their original condition within 48 hours of purchase.
● Store credit equal to the value of the item will be issued unless agreed otherwise.
● Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.

8. Returns – Online Purchases (Distance Sales)

Please note that some items in our clearance section are ex-display and may show minor imperfections or signs of normal wear. If you have any further questions, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Your Right to Cancel
If you purchase goods online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods. To exercise this right:
● You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of the goods, and
● Return the goods within a further 14 days.

Conditions for Return
● Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.
● Please ensure you are satisfied with your purchase before assembly begins, as we cannot accept items that have been fully or partially assembled.

Return Costs
● Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items.
● Collection from your home can be arranged upon request, subject to a delivery charge.

Diminished Value
● You may be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Refunds
● Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
● Delivery charges are non refundable.

Please be aware that the right to cancel does not apply to mattresses, divans, pillows, and duvets once unsealed, for hygiene reasons.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

● We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.
● Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required to fulfil your order or comply with legal obligations.
● You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
